Love the devil compliments! I know which one is staying in the deck now, lol.
Elven: Got the idea from my friend, who goes by the Evil Dead Pony. Decided to see what it was like to channel her into a pony. Granted, she's drawn with clothes on, but it's still sort of her.On the High Priestess I was going for an orb feel but you're right, it does scream crystal ball. Yes, the lovers are floating. I flipped around in my four decks and my dragon deck was the most beautiful lovers card to me, so I sort of looked to it for ideas. I may redraw a lot more cards--Judgement is going to be hard as hell for me, no pun intended--but the ones I have so far seem quite set. I may add color changes, since I'm seeing a mess of blue skys and may go and tint them with greens, purples, greys, and reds. I also needed to add shadows to the Fool, so that should be rescanned later.
Roseanne: Do you know what pony that is? If you or your daughter want to find her name, there's a site that helps you ID old ponies:

Next card done, the Emperor/Sire. It's been done for days, but I've been spending said days cleaning my house and tending to a plant that shed its blossoms and asked me to come and pick them up for her.

Had my boyfriend's help in this (how fitting); the first sketch looked nothing like this one does. Red and purple for royalty, over a grove of trees or bushes or what have you.
I'll try and aim for the "Tower" next. Since I'm also writing a story to go with the cards, the Fool Pony is the pony on the Tower.
